Trummisen i mitt högstadieband hade en liten broschyr som han hade plockat i EFS-kyrkan. Där stod det alla möjliga lustigheter om farliga djävulsdyrkarlåtar. Det jag minns bäst var Church of Satan-påståendena om Hotel California och de fantastiska baklängestolkningarna av Stairway to Heaven. Alltså denna sång samt melodi är ju gjord på det glada 60-talet evt 70-talet... vet inte exakt... men under hippie tiden då det var peace, love and understandig... drogerna flödade....

Min personliga tolkning är att det handlar om droger och drogmissbruk... allt ska vara rosenskimrande men gnuggar man lite på ytan så kommer "monsterna" fram och det är inte så kul ändå... men det är min engen lilla personliga tolkning.... sambon tror att det handlar om en bordell....

Haha. Jag har faktiskt lyssnat på stairway to heaven baklänges. Ganska lustigt. Finns väl ingenting där att hämta egentligen, men när man letar efter något så hittar man det.

Jag har också trott att det handlade om droger men var lite nyfiken om det fanns någon "sanning"...
