Nyhet: Unica i Brno har ny och prisvärd embryodonationsmetod!

Hej alla!

Vill informera er som funderar på embryoadoption, pga att varken ägg eller spermier är ok - Unica i Brno, Tjeckien har börjat med en ny och mycket prisvärd metod som gör högre chans till plus - 55% per försök för två femdagars embryor. Det går till så att kliniken väljer ut tre anonyma donatorpar till dig, som matchar så mycket som möjligt med dig själv + din partner. Du får själv välja vilket av dessa tre par som känns rätt för dig. Sedan odlar de fram blastocyster, och man är garanterad två färska embryor - men embryorna delas mellan 2 par. Alltså dubbel donation, men mottagarna måste komma från olika länder - för de blir ju helsyskon...

Priset för hela behandlingen inkl embryo transfer är 2900 euro. Tillkommer såklart för lite mediciner, men det väl endast Divina (östrogen) som har nämnts + pregnyl. Man kan alltså inte göra detta i "naturlig cykel", utan får käka östrogen för att komma i fas med den kvinnliga donatorn. Så här skrev Barbora i sitt mail till mig:

The advantage of the currently valid treatment with embryos from donated cells is:
1) We will prepare fresh embryos from donor oocytes and donor sperm for you.
2) We guarantee 2 fresh blastocysts for the embryo transfer.
3) The transfer of fresh blastocysts brings the real chance of 55% of conceiving.
4) Both donors will of course correspond your blood type and phenotype.

The treatment requires one visit to our clinic when the embryos are transferred to the womb.
We still use Divina for the preparation of uterus prior the transfer cycle.

The cost of the IVF treatment with embryo from donated cells is EUR 2.900.
The complete treatment includes oocyte fertilization by donor sperm employing the ICSI technology,

Cultivation of the embryos, up to the blastocyst stage, and the embryotransfer itself.

We will give you donor option – we usually choose three most matching donors and you will be able to choose both – your oocyte donor and your sperm donor based on hair and eye color, height and weight, blood type and education.

Basically, you are correct that oocytes retrieved from one donor are divided between two patients.
Always, these two patients are from a different country.

Patients can always decide to have all oocytes available only for them, undergoing the standard oocyte donation program.I myself actually have better feeling about the new procedure with fresh embryos, I feel that it is more ethical and that is very important for me.

The truth is that it was truly not bringing the desired fruit for our patients and was not corresponding with our mission because the more the treatments patients have to undergo prior conceiving, the more they get tired and it also implies a financial burden.

Intressant! Jag vet inte ännu om det kommer bli ÄD för mig, jag försöker med mina egna ägg än så länge. Men jag undrar: är det ett tranfertilläflle då två blastisar återförs? Eller kan man välja att återföra ett åt gången (om den första gången inte leder till graviditet)?

Som jag förstår det så är det ett transfertillfälle med garanterat två blastisar. Men jag har mejlat Barbora och frågat om man kan välja att sätta in endast ett embryo, och om det påverkar priset. Dock fryser de inte längre in överblivna embryor från donatorer - endast embryor från par som gör IVF. Antar att de ser till att donator-embryorna sätts in färska i så stor utsträckning det går och resten kasseras. Antar jag alltså, väntar på svar o återkommer då om det.

Ska tillägga att de givetvis fryser in överblivna embryor om man betalar för hela donationen själv, och då får hela "embryoskörden". Men då är vi uppe i helt andra summor, så detta med delad donation är ett prisvärt alternativ för oss som redan lagt över 100 000 på olika behandlingar...

Tack för svar! Jag tycker dock att det vore konstigt om de kasserar fina blastisar! Jag har hört på många håll att FET t.o.m. kan fungera bättre än färsk ET. Förrvisso är det ju lite annorlunda med ÄD eftersom man inte själv har några biverkningar av ÄP och FSH-stimulering. Men tycker ändå de låter lite väl negativa till frysta embryon.

Jag skrev också till Barbora att jag tycker det är synd att man inte längre kan adoptera frysta embryor. Men hon skrev att det gav för dåligt resultat (30%) per försök, då svarade jag att vi har 0% chans naturligt så för oss är 30% väldigt bra! Men så nämnde hon något om ekonomi också, att det var ökade kostnader för kliniken med nedfrysning, förvaring osv och de kan inte höja priserna då de tycker att 30% är en för låg graviditetssiffra när det gäller donerade "proffsembryor" (en annan sak om det gäller egna könsceller från IVF) och oetiskt att utsätta patienter för försök efter försök, och att det kostade trots allt 1500 euro per frysförsök + resor och medicin.. I praktiken får man räkna med 5-10% missfall också så "take baby home rate" var väl snarare 20-25% per försök för 2 frysta embryor. Men men, klinikerna gör som de vill och vi patienter får väl bara acceptera. Men jag tycker själv att, när jag tänkt igenom saken lite, hellre gör ett färskförsök med 55% chans än ett fryst med 30%. Har varit inne i IVF-karusellen så länge nu, så det blir max ett par försök till, så vi får väl hoppas på detta!

Intressant att höra hur de tänker och de är ovanligt ärliga när de erkänner att det mycket handlar om en omkostnadsfråga för dem själva. Det kan kanske förklara varför jag upplever att många kliniker kan vara lite vårdslösa med embryon; när det finns några topembryon, så kasserar de ofta de något långsammare eller med något färre celler, som i ett annat fall kanske hade kunnat klara sig. Och istället satsar de på en ny IVF runda. När det är ens egna embryon, känns det ju inte så bra. Men jag förstå att ni vill optimera era chanser om ni har fösökt ett tag!

Tack, och lycka till själv!! 8 år har vi hållt på btw så det är ju ett tag. Noll barn, aldrig plussat. Så vi hoppas 2013 blir vårt år!
