Logoped??Help??

There is no need for a diagnosis to be referred to a speech therapist/ logoped. Our son was referred ti ligoped by BVC if I remember right. No psychologist involved at all. 

The first thing the logoped checked was if our son had physical difficulties, such as the tongue not being able to move as required. Then they checked what kind of sounds he could and could not make. We got some advice on how to encourage speech, things to practice etc. We went there every second week to follow up. 

Check with BVC again. 21 months is not a lot, it might be a little early to be concerned about speech, some children are just late. I hope it will turn out alright.
